MARTELLE--Mrs. Harry Holcomb, 80, Martelle, died Tuesday, March 10, following a lingering illness, at Lisbon.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 12, at 2:30 p.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. Raymond Roth of the Martelle Christian church conducted the service. Burial was in the Norwich cemetery.

Pallbearers included David Holcomb, Arlen Holcomb, Nick Sovoda, Richard Strother, James Miller and Thomas Siver.

She was born Dora Mildred Wallick, Nov. 18, 1883, daughter of Winfield Wallick and Ida Stocker Wallick, Cedar Bluffs. She was married to Harry Holcomb Nov. 27, 1902, at Cedar Bluffs. Couple farmed in the Martelle area before moving to Martelle in 1936.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence, Martelle, and Kenneth, Iowa City; one brother, George Wallick, Mount Vernon; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband May 23, 1961; her parents and one sister.
