March 5, 1964 - The Anamosa Eureka

Mrs. Edythe L. Fry, 80, Anamosa, died Wednesday, March 4, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic church, Anamosa. Rev. J. A. McMahon will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Hopkinton cemetery, Hopkinton.

Nephews of the deceased will be pallbearers. McNamara Funeral home, Anamosa, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Oct. 18, 1883, daughter of Julius DeLosh and Anna Whittker DeLosh, Hopkinton. She was married to George Fry, Viola, Oct. 4, 1945, at Anamosa. She worked as a practical nurse for many years.

Survivors include three nieces, Mrs. Joseph McDonald, Anamosa; Mrs. Edith Crowley, Rochester, Minn.; and Mrs. Maxine Winn, Clinton; and two nephews, Clare Stevenson and Vernon Stevenson, both of Los Angeles, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1955.
