26 December 1963 - The Anamosa Eureka

WYOMING--Arber Felker, 75, Wyoming, died late Monday afternoon, Dec. 23.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 27, at 1:30 p.m., at the Hayden Funeral home, Wyoming.

Survivors include his wife, Kitty; two sons, Clare, Illinois, and Glen, Colorado.

2 January 1964 - The Anamosa Eureka

WYOMING--G. Arber Felker, 75, Wyoming, died Monday, Dec. 23, at his home.

Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 27, at 1:30 p.m., at the Hayden Funeral home, Wyoming. Rev. Kenneth Perinchief conducted the service. Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Walter Sullivan was soloist. Mrs. Walter Sullivan was organist.

He was born Glen Arber Felker May 9, 1888, son of John and Mary Felker, Jackson county. He spent all his life, with the exception of three years, in the Wyoming vicinity since moving to Wyoming with his family in 1895.

He was married to Henrietta Behnke, in October, 1910. Sept. 19, 1938, he was married to Kittie Heasty. He was employed for the last four years by the town of Wyoming. He was a member of I.O.O.F. and Rebekah lodges.

Survivors include his wife, Kittie; two sons, Clair V. Felker, Glenn Ellyn, Ill., and Glen L. Felker, Commerce City, Colo.; and a sister, Mrs. Candace Scripture, Monmouth.

Other survivors include four step-daughters, Mrs. Louie Dusanek, Wyoming; Mrs. Ruth Carroll, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Harold Scripture, Wyoming; Mrs. Glen Felker, Colorado; and one step son, John Heasty, Orinda, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
