Kitty Nicholson, 91, Anamosa, died Monday evening, May 18, at the Stoecker Custodial home, Anamosa, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 21, at 2 p.m.; at the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. J. Ellis Webb conducted the service. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

She was born Aug. 6, 1872, daughter of Alexander and Henrietta Zimmer Nicholson, Sharon, Wisc. She had spent almost her entire life in the Anamosa area.

Survivors include a brother, Claude Stroud, Spring Valley, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Charles McVay, Anaheim, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.
