John A. Binder, 68, Anamosa, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Mercy hospital. He suffered a heart attack on the street and died shortly after arrival at the hospital.

Funeral services will be held at Ralls, Texas. Burial will be in the Ralls, Texas.

He was born Aug. 22, 1895, at Dubuque. He was a retired farmer and made his home with a son, Leon, at 110 S. Sales St., Anamosa.

Survivors include three sons, Raymond and Lawrence, Ralls, Texas; and Leon, Anamosa; one daughter, Mrs. Woody Gardner, Amarillo, Texas; three brothers, one sister and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1960.
