22 August 1963 - The Anamosa Eureka

OXFORD JUNCTION--John Edward Buresh, 51, Oxford Junction, died Monday morning, Aug. 19, following a heart attack, at his desk in the Milwaukee depot, Marion, where he was employed as a clerk. Body was brought to the Hayden Funeral home, Oxford Junction.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, Aug. 22, at 1:30 at the Methodist church. Rev. Kenneth Perinchief conducted the service. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery, Oxford Junction.

He was born March 18, 1912, son of John and Anna Benhart Buresh, Oxford Junction. He was married to Lula Koranda, Oxford Junction, on Feb. 23, 1942.

He had been employed for the last 15 years by the Milwaukee R.R. as a clerk at Anamosa, Maquoketa and Marion.

Survivors include his wife; four sisters, Miss Millie Buresh, Miss Helen Buresh and Mrs. Mizaur, Oxford Junction, and Miss Tillie Buresh, Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph.
