March 26, 1964 - The Anamosa Eureka

WYOMING--Mrs. Robert Cashner, 23, Rowley, died Friday morning, March 20, at University hospital, Iowa City, from post-operative complications.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 23, at 12:30 p.m. at the Wyoming Methodist church. Rev. Kenneth Perinchief conducted the service. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Pallbearers included Roger Hanna, Randall Mohr, Verilius Schnept, Larry Huston, Larry Raber and Dennis Huston.

She was born Bonita Finkenbinder, Feb. 8, 1941, at Anamosa, daughter of William and Lucille Huston Finkenbinder. She attended Wyoming schools and graduated with the class of 1959.

She attended Iowa Weselyn college, Mount Pleasant, and was active in Jones county 4-H work. She was a member of the Methodist church and M.Y.F. She was employed by First Trust and Savings bank, Cedar Rapids, before her marriage to Robert Cashner, Rowley, Oct. 20, 1960.

Survivors include her husband; her parents; two sisters, Joyce and Mary; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lucy Huston; and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Finkenbinder.
