Funeral service for Charles Faragher, 76, was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Manchester. Interment was in Oakland cemetery, Monticello.
Charles Wesley Faragher was born near Monticello, Nov. 22, 1867. He died in a hospital at Paw Paw, Mich., Jan. 19.
His early years were spent in Iowa. Because of ill health, he went to Minnesota where he bought a farm and engaged in farming for a number of years. He sold his farm and moved to Lawton, Michigan, where he again purchased a farm, and worked there until his death.
He is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Maria Greene, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Lillian Steckel, Anamosa; Mrs. Julia Kearns, Mrs. T. E. Dutton, Mrs. F. E. Boyland, and Mrs. Anna Schwertz, Manchester; and three brothers, Sidney and J. E., Manchester, and G. F., Richmond, Calif.
