CENTER JUNCTION--Funeral service for Samuel W. Clark will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Presbyterian church in Center Junction with Rev. F. G. Tyrrell officiating. Burial will be made in South Mineral cemetery.

Samuel Wilfred Clark died at his home in Center Junction at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24.

He was born near Scotch Grove, March 30, 1864, the son of Hazen and Margaret Ann Clark, who came from Mercer county, Pennsylvania.

On March 29, 1911, he was married to Charlotte May Chase, who survives. He also leaves a brother, Willis of Havana, Cuba. His other immediate relatives preceded him in death.

Mr. Clark lived his entire life in this vicinity, his early occupation being farming. For 18 years, Mr. Clark was steward at the Jones County Home.

In his younger days he was organist in the Scotch Grove church. He was a member of the Center Junction Presbyterian church, where he served as an elder for years. He was also regular in his attendance at Sunday school.
