Funeral service for Anna Grafing Regennitter, 73, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Bock, sr., Friday, following a four months illness, was held Monday at the St. Paul's Lutheran church, Rev. H. L. Buesing officiating. Pallbearers were Everett Bertelsen, George Wessels, Henry Rickels, L. V. Candee, Edward Harmes and Thomas Hardersen. Interment was at Bennett.
She was born Jan. 3, 1871, at Bremen, Germany, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dietrich Grafing. At the age of nine she came with her family to America, where the family settled near Bennett.
She was married Jan. 3, 1891 to Herman Regennitter, Bennett. They observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary three years ago at their home in Anamosa. Mr. Regennitter died Dec. 31, 1943. She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith June 23, 1940.
She is survived by four children, Mrs. Thomas Midline, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Carl Bock, Anamosa; Mrs. Virgil Kenyon, Oxford Junction and Harold Regennitter, Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Blair, Bennett; Mrs. Bettie Regennitter, Holstein; and Mrs. Lillie Lilinchal, Darsut, Iowa, one brother, John Grafing, Turtle Lake, Wis.; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
