Funeral service for Raymond J. Hults, 32, who died Wednesday at the Oakdale sanatorium, where he had been a patient for the last five months, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Rev. F. H. Kehren will officiate at the service at the Wayne Lutheran church, and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Jasper Hults, Anamosa; and sisters and brothers, Mary Hults, Anamosa; Mrs. Minnie Danneman, Amber; Mrs. Selma Neunaber, Olin; Edward Hults, Amber and Helen, at home.

Loder funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral service for Raymond J. Hults, 32, was held Sunday afternoon at the Loder funeral home and the Wayne Lutheran church. Rev. F. H. Kehren officiated, and burial was in Zion cemetery adjoining the church. Pallbearers were August Zimmerman, Lawrence Folkerts, Carl Folkerts, Conrad Moenk, Irvin Seibels and Ben Wroblewski.

Mr. Hults was born July 7, 1911, in Wayne township, son of Jasper and Margaretha Edwards Hults. He was baptized Sept. 9, 1911, and confirmed Oct. 6, 1921.

He spent most of his life on a farm in the Amber community, with the exception of 10 years in the Olin community. He had been ill for several years, and when his condition became worse was taken to the Oakdale sanitarium near Iowa City for treatment and rest on Dec. 1, 1943.

Mr. Hults died at Oakdale Wednesday, May 17. His father and two brothers preceded him in death.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Jasper Hults, his sisters, Mrs. Minnie Danneman, Amber; Mrs. Sena (John) Neunaber and family, Olin; his brother, Edward, Amber; and his sisters, Helen and Mary, Anamosa; one niece and three nephews.
