ONSLOW--Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Mary Hicks, 89, at a Moline, Ill., hospital. Mrs. Hicks was a former resident of Onslow, leaving here a few years ago to make her home with her son, Merle.

Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Clara Chaplin, and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Carpenter, Onslow. Three other daughters and three sons survive. Her husband and three sons preceded her in death. Burial was at Dexter, Iowa.
