Lloyd Edwin Watson, 70, Anamosa, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, at University hospital, Iowa City.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 5, at the McNamara Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. J. Ellis Webb conducted the service. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

He was born Aug. 26, 1893, son of Enoch Watson and Cora Taylor Watson, Coggon. He was married to Ella Maye Winchell, Anamosa. He had lived his life in the Anamosa vicinity, and had worked for Iowa State Reformatory for several years.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Lavina Ferhman, Milwaukee, Wisc.; two brothers, Roy Watson and John Watson, Marshalltown; five nieces and nephews.

He was proceded in death by his wife; his parents; and one brother, Floyd.
