MORLEY--Orville Duncan, 78, Morley, died Sunday evening, June 2, at the Kieneck Nursing home, Onslow, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 6, at the E.U.B. church, Morley, at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Lloyd Dutro officiating at the service. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, Monticello.

Pallbearers included Roscoe Duncan, Ivan Duncan, Robert Duncan, Lawrence Duncan, Merle Meeks and Donald Meeks, nephews of Mr. Duncan.

Mrs. Lawrence Duncan was pianist. Mrs. George Wooder was soloist.

He was born Sept. 1, 1884, son of Peter and Sarah McMurrin Duncan, near Morley. He was married March 3, 1914, to Myra Cowan at Dubuque. He lived on farms near Morley and Williamsburg until his retirement when he moved to Morley to make his home.

Survivors include one brother, Roy Duncan, Martelle, and one sister, Mrs. W. B. Meeks, Martlle, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nov. 23, 1960; and two brothers, Earl and Rolly Duncan.
