Funeral service for Frederick A. Denison, 69, who died Sunday in Mercy hospital, Anamosa, following a week's illness, was held Wednesday afternoon at the Smykil Funeral home.

Rev. William Strait, Olin, officiated at the service. Pallbearers were Rolly Luckstead, John Hansen, George Voorhies, Henry Holmes, Carl Grabbe and Harry Manuel.

Burial was at Riverside cemetery.

Mr. Denison spent his entire life on a farm seven miles east of Anamosa. He was not married. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Lena Schladetzky, Seattle, Wash. A twin brother, Frank, died last August.
