OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral service for Frank Batcheller, who died at his home in Oxford Mills last Saturday, was held Tuesday afternoon at the Hayden funeral home.

Rev. Wilbur Altheide was in charge of the service. Casket-bearers were George Williams, Austin Conwell, Chauncey Robinson, Kenneth Jeffrey, John Miller and Ambrose Jeffrey. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mr. Batcheller was born in Oxford Junction April 8, 1871. He was employed with the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul railroad Co., but had been retired for some time before his illness.

His first wife was Della Coon, and several years after her death he was married again to Maude Yule.

Survivors include his wife, their two children, Mrs. Mabel Bumgarner, Olin, and H. L. Batcheller, Milwaukee, daughter by his first marriage, Mrs. Bessie Kulhavy, Rock Island, sister, Mrs. Charlotte Coker, Oxford Mills, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
