Funeral service was conducted at Campbell Funeral home, Olin, Thursday, April 8, at 2 p.m. for Willard W. Webb in charge of Rev. William Strait. Burial was in Clarence cemetery.

Willard W. Webb, son of Francis M. and Louisa Knight Webb, was born at Storm Lake, Iowa, July 3, 1874 and died April 4, 1943.

While still a child, he moved with his parents to Early, where he grew to manhood.

On Nov. 21, 1900, he was married to Eva Gooding.

In 1902 he entered the employ of the Northwestern railroad as agent and operator and remained with them until 1939 when he retired from active duty.

During the last year of failing health he has been staying in Olin with his sister.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edgar Olson and two granddaughters of Wilmington, Calif. Two brothers, F. M. Webb, Lovingstone, Mont.; C. G. Webb, Forest City, and one sister, Mrs. John Boling, Olin, and may relatives and friends.

Mrs. Audrey McCormick and Altia Pieper sang, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Jesus Savior Pilot Me", accompanied at piano by Mrs. Louis Rohwedder.

Casket bearers were: Harry Miller, Don Glick, Del Stingley, Ed Lawson, Jake Starry, and Roy Sterling.
