ONSLOW--Squire J. Ripperton, 29, was drowned in the Maquoketa river at Lakehurst, Sunday afternoon when his motorboat capsized.

Mr. Ripperton was born May 29, 1911, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ripperton, near Monmouth. He was graduated from the Monmouth high school.

He was united in marriage to Minta Edwards, Oct. 22, 1930. The home was established in Onslow where they had since lived. He entered the feed and produce business here as an employee of William Hurst in 1932. He had recently entered partnership with Mr. Hurst in the business here and a feed grinder and mixer had been installed.

Mr. Ripperton is survived by his wife and three children Forrest Kay, age 9; Lonnie Ray, aged 6: and Sharon Ann, age 6 months; also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ripperton, four sisters, Mrs. Lee Williams, Center Junction; Mrs. John Yarolem, Onslow; Elsie and Alice at home and a brother, Tim, at home.
