WYOMING--Funeral rites for J. L. Wilson Conwell, 26, who died Wednesday in Mercy hospital, Anamosa, following a two months illness, were held Saturday afternoon in the Lutheran church with the Rev. G. J. Zeilinger in charge. Mr. Conwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Conwell, Oxford Junction, was born and reared in Oxford Junction, graduating from the high school there in 1932.

Following his graduation he became a truck driver for the state of Iowa and continued in this occupation until ill health prevented him from doing that work.

In March of 1936, he was married to Helen Benner, Wyoming, and with the exception of a few months residence in Oxford Junction, the home was made in Wyoming. He is survived by his widow, two children, Laverna and Bruce, and his parents.
