Mrs. Addie Scott, 67, died Saturday, Dec. 28, at the home of her son, Owen E. Scott, 1918 Higley avenue, Cedar Rapids.

Funeral service was held at Loder's funeral home Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 2:30 p.m. Miss Twogood, Cedar Rapids, read the Christian Science service. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

Casket bearers were Harper Smyth, George and Warren Lawrence, Earl Pulver, M. C. Crispin and Ernest Ruhe.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Gillan, Mrs. Scott was born Feb. 6, 1875 at Monticello. In 1876 she moved with her parents to Anamosa.

She received her education in the private school of Rev. J. Corben, Episcopal church minister, and Miss Corben, his sister.

In 1896 she was married to Bert Scott, then of the Scott Hardware company. He preceded her in death Jan.8, 1912, on the 16th anniversary of their marriage.

Mrs. Scott moved to Cedar Rapids in 1917, where she has since made her home.

She is survived by her son, Owen, and nieces and nephews. Three sisters, one brother, her husband, and father and mother preceded her in death.
