Funeral service for William V. Erickson, 50, who died Friday in New York City from a skull fracture received when he fell from a building on which he was working, was held at the Smykil funeral home Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. H. E. Dalrymple was in charge.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Erickson, and was born June 18, 1893, at Stone City. He was a veteran of World War I. After leaving the service he became a structural iron worker in New York City, where he lived until his death.

Surviving are his parents, Stone City; three brothers, Edward, Carbon Cliffs, Ill., Harry, Springville and Fred, Stone City, and one sister, Elsie Dunlap, Marion.
