Oxford Junction--Funeral service for Mrs. Frank Kostecheck, 70, was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at her home. Rev. E. A. Grimwood had charge of the service. Singers were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kolarek, who were accompanied by Mrs. Frank Kulhavy. Casketbearers were Vern Cram, Vit Lasack, Harry Fowler, Fred Lasack, George Slouha and Vince Lasack. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Kostecheck died Monday afternoon at her home here after an illness of a few days following a stroke. She was born Anna Koranda, July 8, 1872, near Massillon, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Koranda and was married to Frank Kostecheck at Lowden, Jan. 10, 1891. For 28 years they farmed near Wyoming, moving then to a small acreage near Cedar Rapids where they lived until 11 years ago when they came to make Oxford Junction their home.

Survivors are her husband, and two daughters, Mrs. Hans Petersen and Mrs. Joseph Dalezal and a son, Edd Kostecheck, all of Oxford Junction, also two grandchildren. Brothers are Frank Koranda, Oxford Junction; Joe, Olin; Otto, Davenport; Louis, Maquoketa; and John, Quasqueton.,
