Mrs. Russell Ellison, daughter of Mrs. Cleo Northrup, Anamosa, died in the University hospital, Iowa City, Monday at 11:30 p.m. following an operation.

Funeral service was held at the Smykil Funeral home Wednesday at 3 p.m. with Rev. Sammie Weaver officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

Grace Northrup Ellison was born in Anamosa April 9, 1927. She was married to Russell Ellison on May 3, 1942. Her father preceded her in death in 1933.

Mrs. Ellison became ill suddenly Saturday night and was moved to the University hospital, where she underwent an operation Sunday.

Survivors are her husband, Mrs. Cleo Northrup; a brother, Robert, Camp Callan, Calif.; and two brothers, Emmett and Richard, who are at home.
