WYOMING--Brief committal service was held here last Thursday afternoon at the Wyoming cemetery for Mrs. G. W. Field, 72, who died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, Monday evening of last week following a two week's illness.

Mrs. Field came to Wyoming when a child from Blue Grass. She spent the major portion of her life in Wyoming, where as a young woman, she conducted a hat and dressmaking shop for many years. Family moved to Davenport 31 years ago. She is survived by her husband, a son, Marshall Field, a daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Meir and four grandchildren. A son, Clayton, died several years ago.
