Mrs. W. E. P. Felker, 68, died at Mercy hospital in Anamosa Tuesday at 2 p.m.
She was born Flora Shomler in Cedar Rapids, on June 10, 1876, to Mr. and Mrs. Julius Shomler. She was married to W. E. P. Felker at Shellsburg June 12, 1905 and lived there until 1911 when they came to Anamosa where Mr. Felker was employed as a guard at the reformatory. He held that position until his death on April 21, 1941. She was a member of the Rebekah lodge in Anamosa.
Surviving are two brothers, Clarence Shomler, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Russell Shomler, Shellsburg; a half-brother, Fred Shomler, Vinton and two sisters, Miss Alice Shomler, Shellsburg and Mrs. George Gunn, Cedar Rapids.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Smykil Funeral home. Burial will be in the Oak Wood cemetery, Shellsburg.
