OXFORD JUNCTION--Joe Buresh, 71, died Monday at 8:30 a.m. of heart disease. Mr. Buresh had been sick for some time.
He was born near Oxford Junction, March 10, 1871, the son of John and Katie Buresh, and had lived here all his life. He was married Nov. 8, 1897, to Anna Benhart, Oxford Junction, and for 30 years they farmed. In 1928, they retired to their home in town.
Survivors are Mrs. Buresh, three sons, Joe, Louis and Otto, all of Oxford Junction; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter; also one sister, Mrs. Otto Benhart, Oxford Junction. Five brothers preceded him in death. He was a member of Lodge Boudocnost Z.C.B.J., Oxford Junction.
Funeral service has not been arranged.

Oxford Junction--Rites were held for Joseph Buresh, 71, Wednesday afternoon, July 15, at his home at 2 p.m. Rev. Fred C. Abele, pastor of the Evangelical church at Lowden, had charge of the service, assisted by Anton Vanicek speaking in Bohemian.
Singers were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kolarik and Mrs. Tillie Coon. Flowers were in charge of four grandchildren, Marguerite, Charles, Robert and Louis Buresh.
Casketbearers were John Buresh, Fred Buresh, Hans Petersen, Louis Benhart, Edward Benhart and William Holub, Central City. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.
