Funeral service of Mrs. Homer Smith, who died Friday, June 25, at Mercy hospital, was held last Monday at the Smykil Funeral home. Rev. E. A. Schlaman and Rev. J. K. Delahooke were in charge of the service.

Casketbearers were Harry Witham, W. W. Robertson, T. L. Levy, Frank Maudsley, J. N. Baumel, and Richard Nichols. Burial was at Riverside.

Mrs. Smith was born Anna Fernam Jan. 9, 1871, at Binghampton, N.Y.

She married Homer Smith Nov. 11, 1919. It was her second marriage.

Survivors are Mr. Smith and her son, by the former marriage, Dean Lawrence, Columbia, N.C., who attended the funeral.

April 1, 1941, she entered Mercy hospital where she stayed until her death.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the Baptist church.
