Josephine Kay Schwartz, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lotus Schwartz, Anamosa, was born at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, Jan. 1, 1943.

Her untimely death at a Cedar Rapids hospital, Sunday, May 9, came from complications following an attack of whooping cough.

Besides the parents, she is survived by a sister, Joyce Jean, and a brother, Lotus, jr., her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schwartz, Fairview, and Mrs. Lena Wolf, Anamosa.

Before her death the rite of Christian baptism had been administered.

Funeral services were held from Smykil's Funeral home, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. with burial in Riverside.

Rev. J. K. Delahooke was in charge of service.
