WYOMING--Funeral service for Mrs. Manuel Straesslin, 43, who died Saturday night at the home of her mother, Mrs. T. H. Story, in Wyoming after a several months illness were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Presbyterian church in Wyoming. Rev. W. P. Nicholas had charge of the service. Mrs. Straesslin, nee Nellie Story, was born May 18, 1896, on a farm west of Wyoming. She graduated from the Wyoming high school, class of 1915 and received her college training at Iowa State Teachers college, Cedar Falls. For 21 years she taught in the rural schools of Jones county.

After her marriage 20 years ago the home was made in and near Wyoming. Not having children of their own, she and her husband were rearing two nephews, Charles and Ralph Eggert. She is survived by her husband, mother, two brothers, Ralph, Wyoming; James, Springville; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Hopkins and Mrs. Henrietta Eggert, Wyoming.
