8 October 1942 - The Anamosa Journal

William Sealls, 70, died unexpectedly Monday evening at his home in Anamosa. Masonic funeral was held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral home in Olin. Rev. Lloyd Dutro, Waterloo, officiated with Rev. W. T. Boston assisting. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

William Sealls was born March 10, 1872 in Madison township. He was married to Delia Easterly in May, 1900, at Olin. They lived in and around Olin all their lives with the exception of six years in Missouri and the last 10 years in Anamosa. Mrs. Sealls preceded him in death in 1936.

Surviving him are one daughter, Mrs. Nelie Mae Glick and son, Edmund; two grandchildren, Bruce and Judith Glick, Olin; and one brother, George, and sister, Mrs. Josie Crain, Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Elnora Stingley and Mrs. Jenie Rummel, Olin; besides nieces and nephews.
