Funeral service for Mrs. Leslie Earenfight, who died last Thursday morning at her home at Twenty-nine Palms, Calif., was held at the Mrs. R. M. Peet home last Monday at 2 p.m. Rev. Homer E. Dalrymple read the service. Burial was in Wilcox cemetery near Viola with Loder Funeral home in charge.

Casket bearers were: James Peet, Robert Peet, Will McCarthy, Ora Mayes, Tipton, Robert McCarthy and Donald Bowdish, Clinton.

Alnora Peet was born Feb. 10, 1891, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Peet at their country home southwest of Anamosa. She graduated with high honors from Anamosa high school in 1909.

Her first teaching experience was in the Stone schoolhouse near Stone City. Soon after she had to move to California for reasons of health. She graduated from the Normal college, Los Angeles, specializing in home economics. She taught in a private school and later in the schools of Imperial Valley and San Pedro, Calif.

In 1929 she married Leslie Earenfight, Pasadena. They made their home at Twenty-nine Palms until she died April 16, after an illness of only a few hours.

Mrs. Earenfight is survived by her husband, her mother, five sisters and two brothers. Sisters are Mrs. Will McCarthy, Anamosa; Mrs. Ora Mayes, Tipton; Mrs. Edward Dandridge, New Orleans, La.; Mrs. Meda Bowdish, Anamosa, and Miss Minnie Peet, Anamosa. Brothers are James W. Peet and Robert M. Peet, Anamosa.

Out-of-town persons attending the funeral in addition to Mr. Earenfight, who accompanied the body to Anamosa for the funeral last Monday, included: Mrs. W. E. Dandridge, a sister, who is remaining for several weeks visit with her mother; and the following nephews and nieces--Mr. and Mrs. R. W. McCarthy and Mrs. E. T. Kausnicka, Des Moines; Miss Ann Dandridge, Iowa State college, Ames, and Donald Bowdish, Clinton.
