WYOMING--Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Hanna were held in the First Presbyterian church in Wyoming on Saturday, May 26, at 11 a.m. Clergyman was Rev. Wayne Norris. Mrs. Lola Wantz was organist and accompanied Junior Hicks, soloist.

Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery. Pall bearers were Henry Fishwild, Alva Streeper, John M. Petersen, James Moran, Edwin Reid, Luther Inglis.

Grace Hanna was born March 10, 1881 on a farm in Clay township and died May 24, 1962 at Maquoketa. Her parents were May and Arch Dunsouson.

She spent her childhood on a farm in Clay township until she graduated from the Wyoming high school and attended college in Des Moines. Here she qualified herself to teach school. Mrs. Hanna taught rural schools several years in Jones county before she went to the state of Washington to teach.

She and John Hanna were united in marriage Feb. 18, 1909. They made their home for a few years at Colville, Wash. before they returned to the Onslow area and the occupation of farming. They retired at Wyoming in 1945.

Two children are Ronald, Onslow, and Mrs. Rufus (Helen) Brown, Onslow. Other survivors include four grand children and one half brother, Clarence Orr, Onslow.

Her husband and parents preceded her in death along with two brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Hanna was an active member of the Wyoming Presbyterian church and of the Women's Industrial society. She was also a member of Eastern Star.
