OXFORD JUNCTION--Anton Hudrlik, 85, died Thursday morning, May 24, at the Jackson county hospital, Maquoketa.

He had been a patient there for sometime. Body was brought to the Hayden funeral home here in Oxford Junction. Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. E. A. Piper of the St. Mark's Lutheran church in charge. Mrs. Hayden was at the organ and accompanied Mrs. Otto Koranda and Mrs. Hans Ahrendsen who sang.

Serving as casket bearers were Joe Tye, Edwin Willimack, Neal Bright, Albert Vacek and Otto Benischek.

Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Mr. Hudrlik was born here in Oxford township, June 17, 1876, the son of Joseph and Mary Novak Hudrlik. He was a farmer and always had lived in this community. He was united in marriage to Mary Vozenelik, who died 15 years ago.

Survivors are one son, Edd, Oxford Junction, and a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Nowachek, Monmouth. His wife and a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Noring, preceeded him in death.
