OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral services for Mrs. Nelle Cranford, 82, were held Saturday afternoon, Sept. 8, from the Hayden funeral home, Olin. Rev. John Schlosser of the Methodist church conducted the service. Mrs. Nellie Stivers was the vocalist and Miss Linda Ballou organist.

Casketbearers were Willard Hoyman, J. H. Ballou, Melvin Borcherding, Edgan Glen, Howard Cruise and Melvin Ramsey. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

Mrs. Cranford died Thursday, Sept. 6, in a hospital at Excelsior Springs, Mo. She was born May 8, 1880, at Olin, the daughter of Lewis and Emma Hayden. She was united in marriage to J. F. Cranford and for a number of years they lived at Marengo, where Mr. Cranford was in business. He died in 1951 and shortly after his death Mrs. Cranford went to Excelsior Springs to make her home.

She is survived by a nephew, Lewis Hayden, Oxford Junction; and a niece, Mrs. John McGuire, Sioux City.
