SCOTCH GROVE--Mrs. Fred Collman, 74, Tripp, S.Dak., former resident of Scotch Grove, died Saturday, June 23, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 24, at the Lutheran church in Tripp, with burial in a nearby cemetery.

She was born Frieda Catherina Maria Lange, Sept. 6, 1887, daughter of Joseph and Emily Lange, Scotch Grove. She attended schools in the Scotch Grove area. She was married to Frederich Wilhemn Collman on Jan. 23, 1908. Couple made their home in Quinn, S. Dak., before moving to Tripp.

Survivors include Leo, Tripp, S. Dak.; Mrs. Mildred McCallister, Tripp, S. Dak.; Delvin, California; a half brother, Henry Miller, Monticello, and 10 grandchildren.

Two brothers, Otto and Hans, Scotch Grove; Louis Lange and Mrs. Laura Coon, brother and sister.

Attending the funeral services from the Scotch Grove area were Otto and Hans Lange, Scotch Grove; Louis Lange and Mrs. Laura Coon, Monticello; and Mr. and Mrs. John Rickels and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bohlken, Monticello. Mrs. Rickels and Mrs. Bohlken are sister-in-laws of the deceased.
