CENTER JUNCTION--Arthur Nelse Berve, Center Junction, died Friday, Jan. 12.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 15, at 10:30 a.m., at the Wallace Funeral home, Wyoming. Elder Lewis L. Howard, Cedar Rapids, officiated at the services. Junior Hicks, Maquoketa, was soloist.

He was born March 12, 1890, son of Amos and Minnie Berve, Onekama, Mich. His father was a missionary for Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, therefore the family lived in many localities. Mr. Berve spent his latter school years at Kewanee, Ill.

He was married to Hazel May Nesbitt, May 10, 1911. He worked as a salesman in recent years and made his home in Center Junction. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Arleta, Mrs. Dillon Hall, Cedar Rapids; Ina, Mrs. Ethan Blair, Center Junction, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth, Mrs. Bert Raithel.
