SPRINGVILLE--Funeral services for Willis Boots, 67, Springville, were held Friday, Jan. 11, at 1:30 p.m., at the Methodist church, Springville. Rev. Maurice Gunn and Rev. Charles B. Willming, Anamosa, were in charge of the services.

Burial was in Cedar Memorial cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Ralph Hunte Funeral home, Springville, had charge of arrangements.

He was born July 21, 1895, son of William a. and Anna Wurzbacher Boots, Morley. His childhood, youth and schooling were in the Morley vicinity. Twenty-seven years ago he moved to Springville where he operated a repair business until his health forced his retirement.

He was a veteran of World war I, a member of Springville Methodist church, American Legion and Lion's club.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Shaffer, Martelle; two sons, Keith Boots and Melvin Boots, Springville; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Others include three brothers, David Boots, Cedar Rapids; Arthur Boots, Martelle; and Willard Boots, his twin brother, Mechanicsville; two sisters, Mrs. Permilla Glackin, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Bessie Jackson, Mechanicsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
