Mrs. Erma M. Boots, 82, Viola, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, at University hospital, Iowa City.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 25, at 1:30 p.m., at the McNamara Funeral home, Anamosa. Harry Newlin, Viola, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Hazel Knoll cemetery, Viola.

Pallbearers will include Harold Houstman, Carl Bock, Merle Atwood and Lester Knight.

Mrs. Dorothy Miller will be soloist. Mrs. Marvin Frederick will be organist.

She was born June 29, 1880, daughter of Henry Clay Thompson and Emily Burlingham Thompson, Jones county. She was married to Roy Boots, Anamosa. She lived her married life in Linn and Jones counties.

Survivors include Mrs. Frank Craft, Marshalltown; Mrs. Bert Atwood, Anamosa; and Glen Thompson, Anamosa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
