Funeral service for John H. Ruhl, 77, who died at his home in Anamosa Tuesday, will be held at the Beam and Miler chapel Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
John H. Ruhl, son of W. G. and Lydia Ruhl, was born in Jones county Dec. 11, 1864. His entire life was lived in Jones county. Mr. Ruhl was married to Lovilla Clark, Linn Grove, near Mount Vernon, June 12, 1912. Couple had three children, two of whom survive. One son, Ray, is deceased.
Survivors are his wife, two sons, Robert and Leo, both of whom are in the Navy; one sister, Mrs. Alma Woodman, Cedar Rapids; three brothers, W. G. Ruhl, Davenport; Ed and Seth Ruhl, Anamosa; besides nieces and nephews. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
