Dilcie Capron, 88, died February 17 at Davenport. She was born January 9, 1893, at Olin, the daughter of Oliver and Susan Cozart Lindley.

She attended school in Olin and on June 22, 1911 she married Samuel Capron at Anamosa. The couple made their home in Olin. In 1945 her husband died. She continued living in Olin until her death.

Surviving her are three sons, Clark of Springville, Garland of Olin and Elvern of Anamosa; two daughters, Mrs. Dell (Leoda) Reinhart of Davenport and Mrs. Raymond (Dolly) Stolte of Mechanicsville; 31 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; one son; one daughter; one sister; one brother; one granddaughter; two great-granddaughters; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral service for Mrs. Capron was held Friday, Feb. 20, at St. Paul's Methodist church. The Rev. Fred Richardson was presiding pastor and the Rev. Lloyd Dutro read the scripture and led in prayers.

Burial was in the Olin Cemetery.
