MONTICELLO--Eldon Bradshaw, 54, Monticello attorney, died Sunday evening, Dec. 31, at John McDonald hospital, Anamosa.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 3, at 9:30 a.m., in Sacred Heart church. Devaney's Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

He was born Aug. 13, 1907, at Woodbine, Ill. He graduated from the University of Illinois law school and began practice in Monticello 28 years ago. He was a former city councilman and city attorney.

He was a member of the Iowa and Jones county bar associations, past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus, Monticello, and a fourth degree member of the general assembly of Cedar Rapids. He was a past advocate of the KC, and a member of the Rotary club.

Survivors include his wife, La Vonne; five daughters, Kay, May, Virginia, Marilyn and Jane; two sons, James and Thomas, all at home.

Other survivors include his mother, Rose Bradshaw, Monticello, and a brother, Clarence, Dubuque.
