Harry G. Gray, 81, Anamosa, died Monday, Aug. 13, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 16, at 2 p.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. Charles B. Willming officiated at the services. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

Pallbearers included Robert Gray, Donald Gray, David Gray, Keith Gray, James Gray and Donald Woods.

He was born July 2, 1881, son of Myuron Gray and Emma Graves Gray, Jones county. He was married to Carrie Coleman. He lived his married life on a farm in Jones county.

Survivors include a son, Hubert Gray; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie; a daughter, Theola; seven sisters and two brothers.
