Funeral service for Mrs. D. E. Ruffier, 64, who died Sunday afternoon of heart disease was held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Smykil Funeral home in Anamosa. Service was read by Rev. H. E. Dalrymple of the Congregational church.

Body remained at Smykil's Funeral home until Tuesday when it was taken to Saginaw, Mich., where short service was held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial was made there.

Mrs. Ruffier, daughter of Byron and Matilda Bush was born Maude Bush at Flint, Mich., April 18, 1878. She was married to D. E. Ruffier, June 12, 1901.

Couple had six children, three boys and three girls. One boy died in infancy. Couple came to Anamosa after they were married and have lived here ever since. Mr. Ruffier is manager of Reliance Manufacturing Co.

Survivors are two sons, Eugene D. Ruffier, Huntington, W. Va., and Emil Philip Ruffier, Toledo, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. A. J. Genard, Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. John Karelvizz, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Ernest James McMann, Rollo, Mo.
