OLIN--Funeral service for Mrs. Willard F. Houstman, 79, who died Thursday at her home here, was held Sunday afternoon in the Olin Methodist church. Rev. Supple, Mechanicsville, and Rev. Ballz, Mount Vernon, officiated, and burial was in Olin cemetery.

Born as Jennie Melissa House on a farm near Olin on Sept. 29, 1862, she was married to Mr. Houstman on April 16, 1885, and has lived her entire life in the Olin community.

Mrs. Houstman is survived by her husband; five children, Chauncy, Des Moines; Oscar, Mount Vernon; Mrs. Jeanette Scott, Macedonia; Arthur and Edgar, both Olin; and five grandchildren. One son, George, died while he was in high school at Olin and two sisters, Mrs. Julia Walton, Olin, and Mrs. A. M. House, North Dakota, preceded her in death within the last year.
