Miss Velma Grace Shoop, 20, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cash Shoop, Anamosa, died at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, Friday after a short illness.

Funeral service was conducted at the American Lutheran church in Anamosa Sunday by Rev. H. L. Buesing. Burial was in Riverside cemetery with the Smykil Funeral home in charge.

Miss Shoop was born on a farm southeast of Anamosa and graduated from Anamosa high school in 1939.

Survivors are her parents, three sisters, Mildred E. Shoop, Washington, Ind.; Mrs. Helen Shaffer, Anamosa; and Mrs. Josie Bunting, Amber; and one brother, Kenneth Shoop, Anamosa.
