Services were held Dec. 14 at the Hayden Funeral Home in Olin for Nettie B. Simmons, 87, Olin. Rev. Fred Richardson officiated with burial in the Olin Cemetery.

Mrs. Simmons died Dec. 11 at Monticello.

She was born at Olin Dec. 14, 1893, the daughter of Willard and Ida Coleman Gordon.

She attended Olin School and on Jan. 3, 1912, she married Ray Simmons at Eldora.

They made their home in Jones County all but two years spent in Missouri. The last 24 years they have lived in Olin.

Surviving her are one son, Oren, Monticello; two daughters, Leone and Clarice, both of Olin; five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Preceding her in death were her husband, three sisters, two sons and one daughter.

Pallbearers were Gary Brunscheen, Robert Simmons, Dan Simmons, LeRoy Simmons, Jeff Simmons and Chris Simmons.
