OXFORD JUNCTION--Mrs. Anna Powlishta, 87, Oxford Junction, died Sunday afternoon, Dec. 10, at the Hultz Rest home, Oxford Junction, where she had lived for several years.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 1:30 p.m. at the Hayden Funeral home. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

She was born Anna Stehlik on Nov. 4, 1874, in Jones county. She was married Sept. 14, 1897, to John Powlishta. Couple had one daughter, Mrs. James Straka, jr.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Mildred, Tucson, Ariz.; and a grandson, Louis, Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter.
