OXFORD JUNCTION--Final rites were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hayden chapel for Charles Shedeck, 80. Rev. F. J. Mittler, Clarence, had charge of the service and music was by the Lutheran choir of Oxford Junction.

Mr. Shedeck died Wednesday of last week at his home here after an illness of several months.

Flowers were in charge of three granddaughters, Mrs. Glenn Bright, Mrs. Elmer Henak, and Dorothy Wallace, Savanna. Serving as casketbearers were: James Homolka, James Peckosh, John Shedeck, Raymond Shedeck, Vern Cram and Antone Blizek. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

He was born north of Baldwin, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shedeck, Nov. 15, 1862. He was united in marriage July 16, 1882 to Mary Sacora, at Oxford Junction, where they made their home. Mr. Shedeck was employed with the Milwaukee railway for 45 years. Mr. Shedeck was the youngest of a family of seven, all of whom have preceded him in death. He is survived by the widow, and five children, three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Bess Ledvina, Mrs. Tillie Moravec, Louis and Joe, Oxford Junction, and Mrs. Oscar Wallace, Savanna and 14 grandchildren.
