OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral service for Mrs. Paul Smith, Omaha, Nebr., former resident of Oxford Junction, were held Monday afternoon, Feb. 18, at 1:30 at the Hayden Funeral home, Oxford Junction. Rev. Robert Ahrends, pastor of Zion American Lutheran church, Wyoming, conducted the service. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery, Oxford Junction.

Pallbearers included Fred Koranda, Fred Benhart, Richard Benhart, Robert Barth, Harry Fowler and Mike Vacek.

She was born Leona Bonner, Feb. 18, 1916, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bonner, Saskatchewan, Canada. She came to the Oxford Junction area when a girl of 7 years with her parents and had lived in Oxford Junction until a couple of years ago.

She was married Dec. 27, 1961, to Paul Smith. Couple made their home in Omaha. While living in Oxford Junction she was a past matron of Peerless chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Lutheran church.

Survivors include her husband, and two daughters, Barbara,, Mrs. Phillip Nelson, Plattsburg, N.Y.; and Bonnie, Mrs. Rodney Walters, Wyoming; one sister, Mrs. Loren Breese, Oxford Mills; and a brother, Walter Bonner, Delmar.
