MORLEY--Mrs. Otis (Fern) Siver, 68, Morley, died Monday, Jan. 8, following a lingering illness, at a Cedar Rapids hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 1:30 p.m., at the Morley E.U.B. church. Rev. Lloyd Dutro officiated at the services. Interment was in White Oak cemetery, Mechanicsville.

Pallbearers included A. R. Embree, Ben Barnhizer, Delbert Smith, Samuel Weaver, Ira Hempy and Francis Shotwell.

Mrs. George Wooder was pianist. Rev. and Mrs. Lee Hobel were vocalists.

She was born March 12, 1893, daughter of W. E. Tallman and Delilah Merritt Tallman, near Morley. She was married Jan. 21, 1915, to Otis Siver, at the Tallman home, near Morley. Couple made their home on a farm in the White Oak community.

She attended Green Center school. She was a member of the Morley E.U.B. church and received a nine year bar for perfect attendance last year.

Survivors include her husband, Otis; two sons, Glenn Siver, Anamosa, and Floyd Siver, Mechanicsville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Others include three sisters, Mary Tallman, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Odessa Piper, Mechanicsville; and Mrs. Avert Cook, Anamosa; three brothers, John, Marion, and Ellsworth Tallman, all of Anamosa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
